Chamber Host Informal Get Together

The recent Tetbury Chamber of Commerce informal get together was well attended by many of our town’s businesses.

Peter Hodgson the Chair said he was extremely pleased with the turnout and support for the Chamber of Commerce and this great networking event. Peter added it was pleasing to hear a number of suggestions and get feedback that the Chamber will be reviewing and progressing in the new year, which looks like it will be a challenging time for many businesses and that why it is imperative for businesses to be united.

Obviously the main talking point was the roadworks and traffic congestion that has blighted the town. Tetbury Mayor Sandra Ball agreed that it was a great opportunity to network and is looking forward to working with the Chamber of Commerce.

Di Playne the Chair of the Tetbury Access Group said it was refreshing for such an event to be held in an accessible venue and again is looking forward to working with the Chamber of Commerce on a positive accessibility report for the town to make people realise how accessible and vibrant Tetbury is for all visitors.

Watch this space for future Chamber meetings and chances to get involved.
